Let’s look at what we worked on in BigBinary Academy during the week of 02nd June 2024 to 08th June 2024.
JavaScript Course Update
This week, we have added a lesson and exercise for the array reverse method in our JavaScript course. We also updated our Regular Expressions chapter. You can now learn to match for digits in this lesson.
Added a new Batch
We welcome a new batch of third-year B. Tech. students from IIIT, Bhubaneshwar, to the workshop. We welcome all the 68 learners who are joining the BigBinary Academy Workshop. They would be spending 8+ hours daily working on BigBinary Academy. We look forward to working with them.
Student Highlight
Tushar Pal is a second-year student from SCSIT, DAVV, Indore. Tushar has been consistently covering BigBinary Academy for one hour every day. He has been working on our Learn JavaScript course. He has been consistent and we are happy to have him with us.
You should check out his Sticky Notes Project.
Community Feedback
Ajmal Shan identified that one of our exercises used a function in the accompanying code. This wasn’t correct, as the function concept hadn’t been covered in the previous lessons. This concept comes later, so we changed the exercise to not use a function anymore. Some of our learners highlighted that in some Ruby exercises, the question code doesn’t ask to put things in the console, whereas the solution needs it. We have started updating this in our Ruby course. Take a look!
