Let's look at what we worked on in BigBinary Academy during the week of 07th April 2024 to 13th April 2024.
JavaScript Course Update
This week, we decided to restructure how each JavaScript question is presented. We started by changing the 30+ questions in this assessment. The order in which the questions will be structured now will be problem statement first, then a code snippet with input and expected output, and finally the code editor.
Also, this week we have identified and removed multiple minor errors from the content.
Added two new Batches
We have added a new batch of Toc H Institute of Science and Technology students to the workshop. We welcome all 62 learners who are joining the BigBinary Academy Workshop. These are final-year students who will spend 4 hours daily working on BigBinary Academy. We look forward to working with them.
We conducted an introductory session with students from FISAT. These final-year students completed our HTML course and built a project with us in the session. Around learners have shown an interest in joining our QA Automation Internship Program. We're happy to have them with us!
Student Highlight
Thejus Krishnan is a second-year CSE student at Toc H Institute of Science and Technology, Ernakulam. He has consistently covered BigBinary Academy for two hours every day and worked on our Learn JavaScript course. We are happy to have him with us.
You should check out his Password Generator Project.
Community Feedback
Deepanshu pointed out a typo in our lesson on toString(). Also, some students pointed out that one of our images wasn’t functional anymore. This was an image from NASA, and they somehow decided to remove it. This time, we chose a Wikimedia image of a historical place. Check it out.
